Calendar-aware calculation
The calculator counts completed calendar years first, then completed calendar months, then the remaining days. It uses the real length of each month and calculates dates in a stable day-only format, so daylight-saving changes cannot shift the answer.
For a February 29 birth date, the anniversary is treated as February 28 in a non-leap year. Results may differ where a law or organization applies another official rule.
