Website Status Checker

Check whether a public website is responding right now. See its live status, HTTP response code, response time, final URL, and redirect count.

Enter a public HTTP or HTTPS website. Private and local network addresses are blocked.

This is a one-time live check from the DevsLoad server, not continuous uptime monitoring. Results can differ by location or change moments later.

How it works

How to check if a website is up

01

Enter the website URL

Paste a public HTTP or HTTPS address. A missing protocol is automatically treated as HTTPS.

02

Run a live server check

DevsLoad connects to the public website, safely follows redirects, and measures the complete request time.

03

Review its current status

See whether the site responded successfully, plus its HTTP code, final URL, redirects, and response time.

Understand the result

What the uptime result tells you

Up or down right now

A successful 2xx or 3xx final response is reported as up. HTTP errors, timeouts, and connection failures are reported as down.

HTTP status and redirects

The final HTTP response code and redirect count help explain whether the requested address reaches a healthy destination.

Server-side response time

Response time measures this check from the DevsLoad server and is not a full browser page-load or Core Web Vitals measurement.

Website availability questions

Explore web & network tools →View all DevsLoad tools →
How can I check if a website is down?

Enter its URL and select Check website. The tool makes a live request and reports whether the final response is successful.

Does this monitor the website continuously?

No. Each submission performs one live check. It does not send alerts, store a history, or monitor the site in the background.

What counts as an up website?

The checker treats a final HTTP response from 200 through 399 as up. A 4xx or 5xx response, timeout, DNS failure, or blocked destination is down.

Why can the result differ from my browser?

Availability can vary by location, network, CDN, firewall, bot protection, and time. This result reflects a request from the DevsLoad server at the displayed moment.

Does response time equal page speed?

No. It measures the server-side HTTP check, including redirects. It does not render the page, run JavaScript, or measure visual loading performance.
