The tool looks up the domain’s authoritative RDAP server using the IANA DNS bootstrap registry.
Does this show the first day the domain ever existed?
Not always. The result reflects the registration date in the current record. A domain that expired and was registered again may have an older history that this record does not show.
Why is there no age for some domains?
The RDAP service may not list the extension, the domain may have no current record, or its registration record may omit the creation date.
